This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) standard and the skills required to lead, plan, conduct, and report on first, second, and third-party audits in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 guidelines and ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements for auditing management systems.

Participants will learn to evaluate the effectiveness of an EMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and driving continual improvement within their organizations. The course includes a blend of formal lectures, practical exercises, case studies, role-playing, group workshops, and open discussions to prepare participants for real-world auditing scenarios.

SGS North America is certified by Exemplar Global as a training provider. Participants who successfully complete this course and achieve Competency through the course exam will receive a Certificate of Attainment for the following Exemplar Global knowledge competency unit:
