This course is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively conduct internal audits of an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard, in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 guidelines for auditing management systems.

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the ISO 14001:2015 standard, including its requirements and the auditing process. The course includes a combination of formal tutorials, practical exercises, workshops, and open discussions to ensure participants are well-prepared to carry out internal audits that contribute to the continual improvement of their organization's EMS.

SGS North America is certified by Exemplar Global as a training provider. Participants who successfully complete this course and achieve Competency through the course exam will receive a Certificate of Attainment for the following Exemplar Global knowledge competency unit:

• EM - Environmental Management Systems
• AU – Auditing Management Systems
