EPA has implemented a new electronic hazardous waste manifest. With the new manifest, waste generators, transporters, brokers, and emergency responders are facing new challenges. In this session, you will learn who is responsible for manifest content, what new information is required, how the manifest is signed, what information is available to the public and emergency responders, how state-only hazardous waste and PCBs are identified, impacts on waste imports and exports, how corrections to waste quantities and shipping descriptions are identified, and the user fees.
