TSCA Requirements for Fluorescent Light Ballasts

If you have fluorescent lamp fixtures manufactured before July 2, 1979, the lamp ballasts most likely contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). These ballasts and their components are subject to TSCA storage and disposal requirements.

At this webcast, you will learn the latest requirements for the management of PCB ballasts, including how to:

  • Determine which classifications apply to your fluorescent lamp ballasts
  • Properly accumulate ballasts on-site
  • Prepare ballasts for off-site shipment
  • Properly dispose of PCB ballasts
  • Comply with TSCA reporting and recordkeeping requirements

The course handbook, TSCA Requirements for Fluorescent Light Ballasts, is included as a downloadable document.
